Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions explain your rights and responsibilities and also those of Bunches of Sussex. "You" means the couple named as Bride and/or Groom on the booking. "Wedding" shall also refer to a civil partnership ceremony.

Service Agreement
Bunches of Sussex agrees to supply wedding floristry services to you in accordance with the wedding floristry quote agreed by both you and Bunches of Sussex.
 
Payment Schedule
The deposit is payable by you at the time of booking. This will be set against the total fees payable by you. The balance of the quoted wedding florals and accessories cost must be paid no less than 30 days prior to the date of the wedding. If the balance is not paid by that date, Bunches of Sussex reserve the right to treat the contract as being cancelled by you, in which case the deposit will not be refunded and no flowers, products or plants will not be ordered. At the point of the balance being paid, no further amendments or changes can be made to the quote provided unless otherwise agreed by Bunches of Sussex.
 
Products
Some products, flowers and plants may be harmful or poisonous, if you require further information on this, please contact us before paying your deposit.
 
All Products are subject to availability. Bunches of Sussex do not guarantee specific stem types. Bunches of Sussex will work with your wish lists and if available we will include your specified flowers/foliage. However, if they are unavailable or of poor quality, Bunches of Sussex will use suitable alternatives which match closest to your requirements. All fresh flowers are subject to availability and undergo quality checks.
 
Photographs
You grant Bunches of Sussex permission to use and access the photographic images from your wedding/your wedding photographer for display, advertising, portfolio, professional competition and review, or any self-promotion including wedding fairs, social media and the Bunches of Sussex website. Bunches of Sussex reserve the right to take photographs of flowers and the setting prior to the event.
 
Cancellation
You may cancel the contract at any time by notice in writing. The deposit is not refundable.

If the date of the wedding is postponed, Bunches of Sussex may at their sole discretion agree not to treat the contract as being cancelled but to provide the services on the new date and transfer all payments made to the fees for that day.

In the unlikely event that Bunches of Sussex are unable to attend for reasons beyond their control, such as death, injury or illness, every attempt will be made to arrange a suitable replacement. If this is not possible or you choose not to accept the offered alternative, then the contract will be considered cancelled and all payments made will be returned to you.
 
Bunches of Sussex are only responsible for refunding moneys paid, and not anything to do with any other costs incurred by the inconvenience.
 
There are no refunds for cancellations of individual items after the final balance has been paid, unless by the agreement of both parties. Cancellations made less than two weeks before the wedding date may forfeit full payment if Bunches of Sussex has ordered flowers and the order cannot be cancelled.
 
COVID-19 ADDENDUM - If the wedding is cancelled due to Covid-19 regulations beyond your control, all monies will be refunded, or held for a future date if preferred.
 
If you are postponing your wedding, please check availability with Bunches of Sussex, as your booking fee is non-refundable if Bunches of Sussex already have a booking for your new date.  If Bunches of Sussex are available, your booking fee will be transferred to your new date. Please bear in mind that availability of certain flower varieties will change from season to season.
 
If your flowers have been ordered, received, processed, and/or designed, you will be financially responsible for the flowers and all labour provided.
 
Limit of Liability
Bunches of Sussex will exercise the reasonable skill, care and judgement that you would expect of professional florists but shall not be liable for events beyond their reasonable control nor for loss, which is indirect or consequential. Under no circumstances will Bunches of Sussex’s liability to you, whether for breach of contract, negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise exceed the total amount that you have paid under this contract. If you wish to have additional cover you should consider taking out a wedding insurance policy.
 
You agree to be responsible for any injury, loss or damage caused by your guests to the people or equipment provided by Bunches of Sussex.
 
It is up to the Client to provide correct locations for deliveries. We shall not take responsibility for lateness caused by an incorrect address.
